Forced or compulsory Labor | G4-HR6

Operations and suppliers identified as having significant risk for incidents of forced or compulsory labor

Our Integrated Management System is binding throughout the company and based on the provisions of the SA 8000 social accountability standard. This standard is based on the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Convention on Children’s Rights. Humane working conditions, decent employment and due consideration for the social aspects of employment are the foundation for how we act at every location. Forced or compulsory labor is illegal and not tolerated in any form at Symrise. We also require our suppliers to uphold basic human rights and to avoid all forms of forced or compulsory labor.

There were no business locations or suppliers with a significant risk of forced or compulsory labor in the year under review.
